What currency are the prices listed in?
All prices listed are in USD.
Are your shirts 100% cotton?
Most are, but some aren’t. Generally, the colours mint, orchid, and slate have some polyester in them. Also, be aware that when a certain colour is out of stock, an alternate brand may be used to minimize the delay in getting your shirt to you. If you have allergies, or any further questions, please feel free to ask! We want your experience with the Shopateria to be fun, and would much rather you have all the information you need prior to your purchase, than have you being disappointed when your shirt arrives.
Where is my data stored?
Any information you input onto the site is stored on servers in Canada, due to the strong privacy legislation in that country.
Where does my order ship from?
If you’re in North America, your order will preferentially be shipped from California, North Carolina, Mexico, or Canada. For orders shipping to customers in the EU or UK, your order will preferentially ship from Latvia or Spain. Items will be shipped from Australia to surrounding areas. Some items may not be able to be shipped from the closest facility due to accessibility, so there is a small chance that your order will accrue customs fees. If this is the case, please let me know and I’ll do what I can to help you with that.
Where are your products made?
We work with a number of suppliers from countries all over the world! Because of this, I’m afraid we can’t guarantee that your particular product will come from a specific country. Rest assured that if there’s a problem with your product, we’re happy to work with you to get any problems resolved.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Each order is created when you order it. We have no existing stock; your order is made specially and specifically for YOU. Because of this, it can take up to 5 business days for your order to be printed, plus shipping time. Although the vast majority of orders arrive in under a week, if you need it by a specific date, please allow 10-14 business days to be certain of a timely arrival. Orders outside of the U.S. or E.U. may take a few days extra, depending on factors such as the local postal system or delays at customs. Adverse weather conditions may also result in added shipping time.
If there’s a chance that your order may not arrive in time for a special event, we’re happy to offer printable “Coming Soon” cards. These are standard letter-sized (8.5 x 11 inches) PDF documents that can be printed on a home printer or at any commercial printing service. You can choose an image of the incoming item, or a fancy question mark if you want to preserve the mystery.
Shipping delays due to COVID-19 are still a reality; please allow for shipping delays beyond our control.
How reliable are your sizes?
Most of our t-shirts are made by Gildan, Bella + Canvas, or Anvil, so the sizes should be those normally found in North America. Size charts are provided for each design, but if you usually take a medium, chances are you’ll be fine with a medium from the Shopateria. If you fall in between two sizes on the chart, or between two sizes in other t-shirts, order one size up to be safe. Shirts can undergo some shrinkage after washing, so a bit bigger is never a bad idea.
This is how we measure the shirt sizes:
For mugs, these are the dimensions:
• 11 oz mug dimensions: 3.85″ (9.8 cm) in height, 3.35″ (8.5 cm) in diameter
• 15 oz mug dimensions: 4.7″ (12 cm) in height, 3.35″ (8.5 cm) in diameter
What does the message “Your card does not support this type of purchase.” mean?
Because our servers live in Canada (see question above) our website is considered to be “out of country” for a few credit card providers in the U.S. Some cards can’t be used for international purchases, and if you’re getting that message, yours is one of them. A workaround is to go through PayPal, using the same credit card. You don’t have to have a PayPal account for this to work, and the credit card company sees PayPal as being in an acceptable location, so it won’t trigger the error message. We’ve tested this and it worked swimmingly.
Why are my shirts from different companies?
There could be a number of reasons.
1. There isn’t a single t-shirt manufacturer that supplies all the colours I offer in all the sizes I’d like to offer. In order to offer the widest range of both colours and sizes, it’s been necessary to mix and match manufacturers. Rest assured that all the manufacturers supply equally high quality shirts, even if there is some variation in the weight of the fabric.
2. Sometimes the main supplier of a certain colour-size combination may be out of stock. In this situation, I’ve chosen to use an alternate manufacturer to avoid unnecessary delays in fulfilling your order.

Can I use my own design?
Sadly, no. There have been too many people trying to use images or intellectual property that they don’t have the right to use, so I’ve had to remove the customizable products.
Do you charge more for larger sizes?
Not at all! All of our clothes are one price, from XS to 6XL.
